Well this Landwind E32 seems familiar….maybe too similar to the Evoque… well it is not just similar but the cars have the exact same design.The pictures you see are from the patent office of China and refer to the new model which will be named Landwind E32.
The Chinese have not even attempted to hide the fact that they “borrow ” design elements of the Evoque. The irony is that as we said, these images are intended as a patent for the Jiangling Motor Corporation, which means they are attempting to acquire rights over the design!
Anyways, the Landwind E32, is based on a shorter version of the Landwind X8 chassis and it will be released in China in the fourth quarter of 2014. It will be offered exclusively with a 4 cylinder, two-liter, turbocharged engine that delivers 190 hp and 250 Nm of torque, which will be combined with either a 6 speed manual gearbox, or an 8- speed automatic, which will be available on the extra equipment. The price is expected to start from 120.000 yuan.
