Lockheed Martin has a new armored vehicle, called Joint Light Tactical Vehicle, or JLTV briefly and of course, it is intended for the American army. The evolution of the JLTV started in 2006 and in recent months, it is in the last stages of development.
The vehicle, weighs 7 tons and it is equipped with a 4.5 liter four-cylinder diesel engine, combined with a transmission of Allison Transmission, that allow it to go up to speeds of 110 km/h, while its consumption according to the company is about 17 liters per 100 kilometers.
