The Sindelfingen factory of Mercedes-Benz in Stuttgart had opened its doors in 1915, while from 1946 it manufactures cars and today the 20,000,000th car came out of its production lines.
The anniversary model is a S500 Plug-In Hybrid and it will be used by the German company in particular circumstances. Mercedes will invest 1.5 billion Euros in this factory by 2020 to modernize the production line in order to become more flexible, which would allow the company to offer its customers more personalization options.
