Mercedes will present at Geneva the new E-Class Cabriolet and a prototype of the AMG GT4 that will be released in 2019. The convertible version of the new E-Class, will have different rear lights, with its retractable roof being made of fabric. It will be based MRA platform and it will be available with the same engines as the E-Class Sedan.
The four-seater AMG GT4, will be the main competitor of the Porsche Panamera and it will be equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 engine, that will be offered in two versions. It is codenamed X290 and it will be based on a different platform than the one that is used by the AMG GT.
The power of its engine will be transferred to all four wheels, but it will also have a drift mode, like that of the new E63. Mercedes will also bring at their booth in Geneva the G650 Landaulet, the E63 Wagon S, the C63 S Cabriolet Ocean Blue Edition and the C43 Coupe Performance Studio Package
