Mercedes-Benz presented the Vision Van concept, that showcases the design of the future commercial vehicles of the company. Mercedes Vision Van concept

The Vision Van concept is an evolution of the Vision Tokyo concept, having a more realistic appearance. The vehicle has a large windshield to improve visibility, but the designers have avoided the use of glass in the sides or the back, in order for the car to have better aerodynamics that will help it in the area of consumption.

The Vision Van has several technologies that help to make deliveries much easier. For example it has drones on its roof, which are comanded by the driver at the interior and can make deliveries to nearby destinations. This enables a vehicle to make multiple deliveries simultaneously.

The Vision Van has an electric system, which at the maximum setting produces 101 hp (75KW) and it gives the car an autonomy of 270 km. Depending on the needs of each company, the vehicle can be adjusted to improve the autonomy by 80 additional kilometers.

Mercedes with the adVANnce program wants to bring this concept into production within the next five years, with rumors saying that the new generation of the Sprinter will have a special version, based on this concept.
