Mercedes AMG F1 for a few days now it is slowly revealing it’s F1 car to the public. This official presentation of the W05 was made this morning in Jerez.
The car has several similarities with the Ferrari F14 T like the muzzle nose. Mercedes seems to want to exploit aerodynamically the front cameras, paying attention to the design of their bases.
Further back we see several small sidepods particularly in relation to McLaren. We see only one intake to the roll hoop, while we observe a fairly thin bonnet, with a few bumps, probably for aerodynamic reasons. The rear wing is supported by two vertical pillars.
