Mitsubishi presented today at the Chicago auto show the new Concept GC-PHEV, which shows us how the next generation of the Montero will look like.
The concept is not new, since its first had made its debut at the Tokyo auto show in 2013, the changes are not many from that form to the current one. The car has maintained the high and muscular body, having several futuristic details.
At the interior all four passengers have their own ergonomically designed seat and all have access to the new technology of Mitsubishi, called Tactical Table, this new technology (table) is positioned in the center of the cabin between the four seats, with its touch screen to allow, to a mobile smart phone to connect to it and exchange and share information with the other users.
The car is equipped with a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) set, consisting of the a 3 liter V6 MIVEC supercharged engine producing 335 hp, an electric motor and a lithium battery of 12 kWh, which is located behind the rear axle, and between the luggage compartment. The hybrid set is combined with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and the Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) permanent all wheel drive.
