An insider of BMW has revealed that the new MINI Cooper JCW will produce close to 230 hp and 349 Nm of torque, not by a 1.6 liter turbo engine,, but from the B48 2,0 liter turbo of BMW. The car will borrows many design elements from the concept, with the engine combined to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
It is expected to make its debut at the Detroit autoshow in January 2015 and it will be available in both three-door and five-door versions.
