Nissan has announced that the limited edition “45th Anniversary” of the Nissan GT-R will go on sale in early February only on the Japanese market, in conjunction with the release of the new model of the GT-R.
Since its launch in 2007, the Nissan GT-R has been recognized as one of the best performance cars of the world, true embodiment of the commitment of Nissan in search of “Innovation that excites”. The letters “GT”, Gran Turismo, is synonymous with comfortable ride and a high level of sophistication, while its high performance is embodied by the “R”, which means Racing.
The “45th Anniversary” limited edition will be available in the special color “Silica Brass”, the same color with which the Skyline GT-R M-Spec (R34 Type) was presented in 2001 and it will be available only in the Premium Edition version. Nissan has not released any information related to any kind of modification of the mechanical parts of the car, so the Nissan GT-R “45th Anniversary” will be equipped with a bi-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine producing 550 hp and 627 Nm of torque.
Nissan will produce only 45 units of this special edition and will accept orders from the first of January. The Nissan GT-R 45th Anniversary Edition will be distributed, as mentioned before, only in Japan at a list price of 10,787,040 yen.
