Nissan Navara EnGuard Concept

Nissan presented in the commercial vehicle show in Hanover, the Navara EnGuard Concept. The car is based on the Navara Double Cab Tekna and it is described as a car that can operate as a rescue vehicle, even in the most extreme environments in the world.

It has an increased ground clearance by 50 mm, new wide fenders, side steps, emergency lights, new front fog lamps, new rear lights and fluorescent green details, which are visible even in the daylight and are easily recognized by people who are color-blind.

The Nissan Navara EnGuard Concept is equipped with a 2.3-liter turbo diesel engine producing 190 hp. It has many rescue tools, a drone with an operating capacity of 6 km, a speed up to 20 meters/second and 30 minutes of autonomy.

The image of the drone is transmitted wirelessly to the pop-up screen located in the vehicle’s cab. Finally it has two portable batteries of 2 kW, that have been developed by Nissan and are weather resistant, since they are coated with aluminum.
