The Nissan Navara gets a new diesel engine

The Nissan Navara is now available with a 2.3-liter CDi diesel engine, producing 160 and 190 hp in two different versions. The consumption of this engine is 6.1 liters/100km, while the nitric oxide (NOx) that it releases into the atmosphere is reduced, thanks to the new SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system.

The SCR operation is optimized by adding an AdBlue tank of 17 liters. This guarantees the supply of urea mixture and deionized water to the catalyst for 11,500 kilometers until the next filling.

Apart from these mechanical upgrades, the Navara will now be available with a start-stop system (Idle Stop System), a new infotainment display, the Around View Monitor with 360 degree control cameras and an emergency braking system (Forward Emergency Braking).
