Roland Schellenberg and Arnold Moulinet, two engineers from the Nissan Technical Center company in Stanfield, Arizona, America, combined a Leaf and a Frontier and they named the result Nissan Sparky.
The project uses the body of the Frontier, with the body and mechanical parts are of the Leaf. The Sparky is an electrical two-seater modern truck, with Schellenberg stating:
I needed a project for the strengthening of the team so that they can all work together. We had a need for a truck. Something to drive around.
