Nvidia at CES presented the Drive CX

At CES, Nvidia presented the Drive CX, that is powered by a Nvidia Tegra X1 chip which has a power comparable to the best computer 15 years ago, and it is similar to that of theXbox One and PS4. The chip has a processing power of more than 1 teraflops, with Nvidia to stress that its use is not limited to smartphones, tablets and gaming handhelds, but it can also be used in cars.

The Drive CX supports Android systems, QNX and Linux, with developers/companies to have access to the Nvidia Drive Studio in order to create their own digital dashboard of the future that can have three-dimensional instruments and navigation systems. The plans of Nvidia is sometime in the future to build a system for autonomous vehicles, which will be powered by two Tegra X1 SoC processors, able to analyze 1.3 billion pixels of data from sensors and cameras per second!
