Honda published some additional information about the new European-spec HR-V, which will be presented at the Geneva Motor show, before starting its sales in the summer.
The new HR-V offers one of the most spacious interiors in its class thanks to the “Magic Seat” system. Another feature that contributes to the interior being spacious, is the low profile fuel tank mounted under the front seats, which also benefits the luggage compartment, which has a capacity of 453 liters, that increases to 1,026 liters with the seats folded.
The interior features soft materials with decorative brushed chrome, while the design of both the instrument panel and the instrument panel enhance the premium feel of the car. In the center of the dashboard there is a 5 inch touchscreen of the entertainment and information, using the Android operating system.
The care will be available exclusively as front wheel drive equipped either the 1.5 liter i-VTEC petrol engine producing 130 hp or the i-DTEC diesel of 1.6 liters producing 120 hp. Both engines are combined with a 6-speed manual transmission, while only the petrol engine can be combined with a CVT.
