In 1999, Dodge unveiled the Charger R/T Concept, a four-door prototype that had styling cues from the Charger of the 1960s, that was mostly famous because of its participation in The Dukes of Hazzard as General Lee and because it was considered the first “real” muscle car.

The Charger R / T Concept, had a length of 4750 mm and a weight of 1,361 kg. It was built on the platform of the Dodge Intrepid, having double, chrome exhaust pipes, placed in the center of the rear bumper, being equipped with a 4.7 liter V8 engine that consumed LPG.
