Mazda6 facelift 2017

Mazda unveiled today the updated Mazda6, which will be available in Europe from autumn. The model has a slightly new look with new bumpers, new lights and new wheels, while it is equipped with the G-Vectoring Control system (GVC).

It is available with three SKYACTIV gasoline engines, two SKYACTIV-G 2.0 liter producing 145 and 165 hp and the SKYACTIV-G 2.5 liter  producing 192 hp. The car is also available with a 2.2 liter SKYACTIV-D producing 150 and 175 hp, with the engines to be combined with manual and automatic transmissions. The diesel engine has three new systems that reduce engine noise, consumption and throttle response.

The interior of the car features a new steering wheel, new decorations, a new instrument panel, a head-up display and more sound-insulating materials. In terms of passive and active safety, the model comes with the i-ACTIVSENSE system including the Traffic Sign Recognition system (TSR) and Advanced Smart City Brake Support (Advanced SCBS).
