At the 2005 Bologna auto show, Fiat presented the Oltre concept, which was based on the Iveco LMV. The design of the car featured many angles and straight lines, while the Crew-Cab version, combined the advantages of an SUV and a pickup.
The Oltre had a ground clearance of 50 centimeters and it could climb a slope with an inclination of up to 40%. It was equipped with a 3 liter four-cylinder, turbo diesel engine of Iveco, with a variable geometry turbo and intercooler, that produced 185 hp at 3,700 rpm whith 456 Nm of torque at 1,800 rpm. The engine was combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission, that helped the car reach a top speed of 130 km/h.
