Opel presented the Astra Sports Tourer. The length of the car reaches 4.7 meters, its width is 1.87 meters and it has a height of 1.5 meters. It has new lights at the rear, while the boot has grown by 80 liters, compared to the outgoing model, reaching 1,630 liters with the rear seats folded.
The weight of the car has been reduced by 200 kilos. Mechanically it is available with the same mechanical sets as the hatchback version, a 1.6 liter CDTI diesel engine producing from 95 to 136 hp. On the other hand, the entry-level engine is a 1 liter three-cylinder ECOTEC Direct Injection Turbo with 105 hp. The Astra Sports Tourer is also available with a 1.4 liter four-cylinder engine delivering from 125 or 145 hp and 250 Nm of torque, available between 1,800 and 4,000 rpm.
