Opel announced that the Mokka and Insignia will be available with a 1.6 CDTI and 2.0 CDTI respectively. The new engines offer better performance, lower consumption and fewer emissions, smooth and sophisticated function, and quieter operation.
The 1.6 CDTI replaces the 1.7 CDTI and it delivers 136 hp with 320 Nm of torque, 6 more hp and 20 more Nm than its predecessor.
The Mokka with the 1.7 CDTI makes the 0-100 km/h in 9.9 seconds, with a top speed of 191 km/h. The engine is combined with a 6-speed manual transmission with a start/stop system and it consumes 4.1 liters/100 km emitting 109 g/km.
The Insignia with the 2.0 CDTI delivers 170 horses with 400 Nm torque, with the 0-100 km/h coming in 9 seconds, having a top speed of 225 km/h.
