Mitsubishi presented in Paris the Outlander PHEV Concept-S. It is a plug-in hybrid concept, which is described as a “special package” for the Outlander PHEV.
It has a redesigned interior and exterior aiming to give a new dimension to the unique driving experience of the Outlander PHEV. Externally there are new lights, new bumpers and chrome grille, while inside we find red and black leather upholstery, wooden ornaments, chrome details and gloss black center console.
Its sophisticated design, reflects the unique combination of dynamic performance of the 4 × 4 system with twin-motor PHEV, the smooth quiet operation, and the excellent behavior on the road. The hybrid system is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 12 kWh, which is charged by a 2.0 liter DOHC MIVEC engine.
