Nissan presented the Pulsar in Paris. The car has a length of 4385 mm and a larger wheelbase. The usable space for the feet of the rear passenger reaches 692 mm and the luggage capacity reaches up to 385 liters (1,395 liters by folding the rear seats).
It will initially be available with two turbocharged engines: the 1.2 liter DIG-T petrol engine that delivers 115 hp @ 4,500 rpm and 190 Nm of torque from 2,000 rpm and a 1.5 liter dCi diesel engine that produces 110 hp and 260 Nm of torque and emits 95 gr/km of CO2. The Pulsar is available with both a six-speed manual gearbox and the XTRONIC CVT automatic transmission (with the 1.2 DIG-T). In the spring of 2015, a larger and stronger 1.6 liter DIG-T with 190 hp, will be added to the range of available engines, accompanied with a slightly different exterior and cabin. According to Nissan the 1.6 liter DIG-T engine will have an average fuel consumption of 6 liters per 100 kilometers with emissions at 138 gr/km of CO2.
Sales of the Nissan Pulsar will begin in the fall, with its price in England to start from € 20.000 for the standard version with the DIG-T petrol engine of 115 hp and reaching up to € 25.700 for the top version with the same engine.
