After the presentation of the Adam S concept at the Geneva Motor Show this year, and the presentation of the production version in mid-September, the Adam S made an official debut at the Paris exhibition.
Externally, the car stands out from the rest of the range thanks to its new body kit, a sport suspension that lowers the ground clearance, 17 inch alloy wheels and larger brakes with red calipers. The cabin is the same as the other versions, but a potential buyer may choose between three seats including the Recaro Performance Morrocana with leather or nappa. The Adam S, also has special floor mats and the IntelliLink infotainment system of Opel, with a 7 inch screen, Bluetooth and compatibility with Siri Eyes Free.
It is equipped with a 1.4 liter turbo engine producing 150 hp and 220 Nm of torque combined with a six-speed manual gearbox. Power is transferred to the front wheels, with the 0-100 km/h coming in 8.5 seconds with the top speed to be more than 200 km/h.
Orders of 2015 Opel Adam S will start this November with first deliveries to be scheduled for early 2015.
