Renault presented in the Paris motor show, the luxurious Initiale Paris versions of the Renault Clio and Espace. The Clio Initiale Paris costs €21,500 in France with the 0.9 liter TCe engine producing 90 hp, while with the 1.2 liter TCe producing 120 hp, combined with an automatic 6-speed EDC gearbox starts at € 23.600. In terms of diesel, the French car is available with the familiar 1.5-liter dCi engine of 90 hp, with the price to start from € 23.800 for the engine combined with a manual five-speed gearbox and €25.200 combined with the automatic EDC.
The car features sports bumpers, new LED headlights with many chrome parts, new 17 inch wheels, fog lights, new tailpipes and Initiale logos at the back. Inside it features sports seats with black and beige leather, black decorations and panoramic roof.
The interior of the Espace Initiale Paris features either gray/dark brown or dark brown decorations. The car features 19 inch rims,Initiale logos at the back. The cabin is covered with Nappa leather upholstery, it features electrically adjustable heated front seats with incorporated massage system, leather steering wheel, tinted windows, Bose sound system with BOSE Surround Sound, Visio System Pack for improved visibility, automatic lights, license plate recognition system, overspeed warning, lane departure warning system and the Advanced Pack Security system which alerts the driver of an impending collision and can brake the car by itself.
The Espace Initiale Paris is equipped with the Energy TCe 200 EDC and Energy dCi 160 EDC diesel engines. If sales go well, then there will be other models before Renault decides to make the Initiale Paris a sub-brand, with the holders of such models to benefit from a dedicated call center and various other service packages.
