Volkswagen presented in Paris the renewed Polo GTI. The model is instantly recognizable and stands out from the rest of the range with its sport bumper and red accents. There are similar differences in the back where we see a new, sport bumper and dual exhaust tailpipes.
The interior features a steering wheel with a flat bottom and new seats covered with new fabric. There are many other changes but those that stand out are the black and red decorative stitches.
The new Polo GTI is equipped with a 1.8 liter four-cylinder that delivers 192 hp and 320 Nm of torque. The engine is combined with either a 6-speed manual gearbox, or a DSG dual clutch transmission. The 100 km/h from a standstill comes in just 6.7 seconds while top is 236 km/h.
