Peugeot presented officially the 308 GTi, which is equipped with an aggressive body kit, that features a new rear diffuser, that is painted in a gloss black color, new side skirts and dual exhaust tailpipes.
The car features also a new power steering system, while the driver has the ability to completely disable the ESP. Te interior features black leather, with red stitching, aluminum door sills and aluminum pedals and gear selector.
The car is available in two versions, the 308 GTi 250 and the 308 GTi 270, the second one features leather bucket seats, 18 or 19 inch wheels and brakes with discs measuring 380 mm in the front.
It is equipped with a 1.6 liter turbo petrol engine that delivers 250 hp and 270 hp (in the 308 GTi 250 and the 308 GTi 270 versions respectively), with 330 Nm of torque in both cases. The power passes to the front wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox, with the weight of the car being just 1,205 kg. It is able to do the 0-100 km/h in 6.2 sec, in the version with 250 hp and 6 seconds in the version with 270 hp, with the top speed limited to 250 km/h in both cases.
The 270 version, features a Torsen differential lock and it has an average fuel consumption of just 6 liters/100 km, while it emits 139 g/km of CO2.
