SsangYong release new photos of the Tivoli, its new small crossover, which is essentially the production version of the SsangYong XIV-Air and XIV-Adventure concepts presented in Paris.
The name of the car comes from an Italian city, Tivoli, 30 km outside Rome. The car’s length is 4195 mm and it has a wheelbase of 2.6 meters,offering a quite spacious interior. Among other things, it has seven airbags, touchscreen, dual-zone air conditioning, a rear view camera and a luggage space of 432 liters.
It will be available with the e-XGI 1.6 liter gasoline engine with 126 hp and 157 Nm of torque and a 1.6 liter diesel engine, both engines are combined to either a six-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission, with the diesel engine emitting 120 g/km CO2.
SsangYong will begin sales of the Tivoli later this month in the South Korean market, with the European, Chinese and South American market to follow. The aim is to sell 100,000 cars by the end of 2015.
