Porsche did not present a brand new model in Detroit, but they presented the GTS version of the 911 Targa 4.
The engine of the 911 Targa 4 GTS, delivers 430 hp and has a kg per horsepower ratio of 3.6. Consequently, the 100 km/h from standstill arrives in 4.3 seconds, while the top speed is 300 km/h (for the model equipped with the PDK transmission). Also, although the engine develops 30 hp more than the 911 Targa 4S, the fuel consumption is identical 9.2 to 10 liters per 100 kilometers, depending on the transmission.
The car features wider fenders, bi-xenon lights, an air vent on the front bumper, special “GTS” and “Targa” logos and the 20 inch light-alloy wheels of the 911 Turbo S. The interior features as a standard the Sport Chrono package while the upholstery is black Alcantara. The Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS will be launched in Germany in March 2015 at a starting price of €137.422.
