Alfa Romeo presented officially the production version of the 4C Spider, that will debut later this week at the North American International Motor Show.
The 4C Spider features a small, removable fabric, or optionally, one made of carbon fiber. Beyond that, it has new front lights, bonnet with 3 vents and a small spoiler and LED rear lights. Concluding with the appearance, at the rear the standard 4C Spider has two exhaust tailpipes, like the Coupe.
The car also has 4 new designs for the alloy wheels with dimension from 17 to 19 inches to accommodate the brakes with silver, red, yellow or black calipers. The individual customer can choose one of the 7 colors in which the model is available, including the new, Giallo, that you see in the pictures while on the interior, six combinations of two different materials are available. The interior features two leather seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, a 7 inch digital dashboard, aluminum pedals, an Alpine audio system that supports HD Radio, SiriusXM and with USB connectivity and iPod.
The car is equipped with a four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine of 1.75 liter that delivers 237 hp and 350 Nm of torque and it is combined with the well-known automatic dual clutch transmission, with paddles on the steering wheel, that can change the speed in just 130 milliseconds. The removal of the roof, fortunately adds only 10 kilos at the low weight of the coupe 4C. The car needs 4.1 seconds to do the 0-96 km/h, having a top speed of 258 km/h.
