Porsche announced that they are renaming the Cayman to 718 Cayman and the Boxster to 718 Boxster. The reason is (besides the revival of a legendary name), that the 718 of the past is very similar to the the two models, both visually and technically. Both cars will be presented in 2016 with the 718 Boxster costing more than 718 Cayman.
