The Range Rover Sport SVR visited the Rockingham to show its dynamic characteristics. In the video at the bottom of the article you can see, the Chief Engineer, of Vehicle Integrity of Jaguar-Land Rover, Mike Cross, briefly mentioning the systems which are fitted to the “fastest production SUV at Nurburgring”.

The most important changes made to the car, include the differentiated Dynamic Active Rear Locking Differential and the improved Torque Vectoring system that continuously adjusts torque distribution during cornering. The Range Rover Sport SVR also has Brembo brakes, sport suspension, Active-Roll Control, and a reprogrammed version of Adaptive Dynamics system.
Under the hood lies a supercharger 5 liter V8 engine that produces 550 hp and 680 Nm of torque and it is combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system. Thanks to all this, the 0-96 km/h comes in 4.5 seconds while the top speed is electronically limited to 260 km/h.
