Land Rover has begun the test of the Range Evoque Cabriolet. The model differs significantly from the concept that was presented at the Geneva auto show in March 2012 with the production car to be officially presented in 2015.
The car will be based on the three-door Evoque, it will have a soft retractable fabric roof and it will have the 9-speed automatic transmission from ZF. It will also feature the Roll Over Protection System (ROPS) system which protects the passengers in the event of rollover. It will be available with the same petrol and diesel engines equipped on the Evoque. Just for a reminder some of them will be the 2.2 liter diesel eD4 producing 150 hp, the 2.2 liter SD4 diesel producing 190 hp and a 2.0 liter petrol engine producing 240 hp.
