At the New Delhi auto expo, Renault unveiled the Kwid Concept, a crossover, which is distinguished by its thin lights, the two-tone exterior, the big ground clearance, the doors that open upwards and by its big wheels with off-road tires.
It is equipped with a 1.2 liter engine combined with a double clutch EDC gearbox, with the car being able to be equipped also with an electric motor with batteries.
Hallmark of the concept is the “Flying Companion”, a flying drone that is located in the back of the roof and can either be handled by hand or through a scheduled operation of the GPS system. It is intended to be used for taking pictures, identifying obstacles that may be encountered on the street guide or even control the traffic.
