Rolls-Royce presented the Ghost Elegance, which is painted in a two-tone color, that contains real diamonds. The company claims that they spent 2 months in order to perfect the paint, observing the diamonds under the microscope, in order to study how they interact with light.
Fine diamond powder is mixed with the paint and an extra layer of varnish is applied, in order to ensure the smooth finish. Rolls-Royce says that this paint requires two extra days, on the production of each car.
The Ghost that will be presented at Geneva is painted in a black and a special gray color, with red accents. It has 21-inch rims and its interior has a black and gray leather upholstery with red accents, a wood trim and a unique clock on the dashboard.
