According to rumors, Lexus will unveil the new CT200h in 2017, with the model to be based on the TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) platform, the same one used by the new Toyota Prius.
For now, it remains unclear whether the new model will be offered only as a hybrid, like the current generation, or also with a gasoline engine. Probably the new CT200h hybrid will be equipped with the same hybrid system as the new Prius, which offers 10% reduced power consumption and better performance.
