Mercedes-Benz is continuing the testing of the ML Coupe and this time the camera caught it running at Nurburgring.The production version of the coupe ML-Class, codenamed C292, will be manufactured in the factory of Tuscaloosa in Alabama, in which Daimler has invested 2 billion dollars to upgrade. It will be the fifth model made in the U.S. factory, after the C-Class, ML-Class, GL-Class and R-Class.
From an engineering standpoint, the car will be available with a 3.0 liter V6 diesel of 258 hp, a 3.5 liter V6 petrol engine producing 306 hp and a 4.6 liter V8 producing 435 hp. Of course there will also be a hybrid version and the MLC 63 AMG which will be equipped with a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine producing 525 horsepower with 700 Nm of torque.
The car is expected to be presented in the first half of 2015, with sales to begin in the third quarter of the same year.
