SsangYong gave the first pictures of the Tivoli, its B category small crossover. It is essentially the production version of SsangYong XIV-Air and XIV-Adventure concepts that were presented in Paris last month. The name comes from an Italian city, Tivoli, 30 km outside Rome. The cars length is 4,195 mm, it has a wheelbase of 2.6 meters and it offers a spacious interior.
The car will be available with a 1.6 liter gasoline engine and a 1.6 liter diesel engine. Both the engines will be combined to either a six-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission, with the diesel engine emitting 110g/km of CO2 and the gasoline engine 140g/km of CO2. Sales of the SsangYong Tivoli will start in South Korea from January, while in the rest of the world it will be sold from mid-2015.
