Tata presented two new global models. These are ZEST sedan and the BOLT hatchback which will be the first cars to feature the new design philosophy of Tata, which is called DesignNext. Based on the X1 platform, both models will start their trading course in India later this year, with sales in the rest of the world to start a little later.
The ZEST has a length of 3,995 mm, width of 1.695 mm and a height of 1.570 mm. It weighs 1,106 kilos and the interior of both models features infotainment with a 5 inchTouch Screen, Bluetooth and voice command system.
Both cars twill be equipped with a new four-cylinder turbo Revotron engine producing 85 hp at 5,000 rpm with 140 Nm of torque between 1750-3000 rpm , and also there will be an option of a 1.3 liter Quadrajet diesel derived from Fiat, producing 90 hp at 4,000 rpm with 200 Nm of torque, which will be combined with a 5 -API AMT (automated manual) gearbox.
