England is going to exit from the European Union in March, with many companies having indicated that they will raise the prices of their products in the country.
Tesla had announced for some time, that they will raise the prices of their models by 5%, from 1st of January, but eventually this will apply from the 15th January. The US company said that the impressively large demand of their models was the cause for the extra days of normal prices.
The price increase is justified by the weakening of the British pound, compared with the dollar, with the rate to be around 17% weaker after the vote for Brexit that took place last summer. The increase in prices of Tesla models does not affect the cars that are already in dealerships.
