The new car of Cadillac will be presented on March 31, shortly before making its debut at the New York auto show. It is scheduled to go on sale in the fourth quarter of the year and it will be constructed in the Detroit-Hamtramck plant in Michigan. GM says that the aluminum body of the CT6 has a patented aluminum welding technology.

The car will be built on the Omega platform and it will weigh almost as much as the CTS, although it will be larger in size.
