Mercedes presented the G500 4 × 4² in all its glory. The G500 4 × 4² is a “near series” concept, which means that it is very close to production.
The model features an AMG front bumper, carbon fiber flares on the fenders, LED lights on the roof, side exhaust tailpipes and 22 inch alloy wheels with off-road tires.
The car is equipped with a 4 liter twin turbo V8 engine that delivers 422 hp. Mercedes gave no specific information nor for the engine nor for the performance of the car.
The G500 4 × 4² comes equipped with portal axles and suspension with two springs/shock absorbers per wheel. The company says that one spring damper operates conventionally with standard features, while the second one set is electronically controlled with variable characteristics that can change from “Comfort” to “Sport” in just 15 milliseconds.
