Audi will present the coupe version of the new A5 in Geneva, while the sportback version of the car will make its debut at the Paris auto show, in September of 2016, while the convertible version will be presented in early 2017. All of the above models will be built on the MLB Evo platform that is used by the new Audi A4 and they will be lighter that the current ones.

The RS versions of these models will be equipped with a 3 liter TFSI engine that will have an e-turbo technology, with the RS4 Sedan and RS4 Avant to be the first ones that will be launched.
