The new generation of the Defender, according to the chief designer of Land Rover, Gerry McGovern, will have an SVR version, which will be produced by the Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) section of the company. The car wil also be available in an SV Autobiography version.
The new Defender will have five different body styles: a two-door with a short wheelbase and hardtop, a two-door with a short wheelbase and soft top, a four-door with a long wheelbase and a hardtop, a two-door pickup with a short wheelbase and a four-door pickup with a long wheelbase.
