Land Rover will unveil the new Discovery at the Paris auto show, with its sales to start from next spring. The model will be offered many aneignes among which, will be a 2-liter Ingenium diesel engine, that is already available in the Range Rover Evoque, Jaguar XE, XF and F-Pace.
The car has a modern, more luxurious and sporty image. Its interior has a large touch screen of 10.2 inches that shows all the information of the infotainment InControl Touch Pro system. It will be offered with several new technologies such as a remote parking system for narrow parking spaces and a system that uses laser scanners, to scan the road and automatically adjust the suspension, based on the road conditions.
Its production will take place in the Jaguar Land Rover plant in Solihull, with the seven-seat Discovery to be based on the same platform as the Range Rover Sport, which will make it have a reduced weight, compared to the Discovery 4.
