Nissan is preparing the next generation of the Micra, with Trevor Mann, Nissan’s Vice president stating in a recent interview that the car will be larger and that it will have an attractive design and a high quality interior.

The new Micra will borrow design elements from the Sway concept and it will be based on the modular CMF platform. It will be built in a factory in France, with the company having a goal to produce 132,000 units annually.
