In early 2015, BMW presented the M4 Concept Iconic Lights with innovative organic led lights. The company now released a video , describing the OLED lights, which will be placed on the M2 and the M4 GTS, according to rumors.
The OLED lights produce light from extremely thin layers of semiconducting organic materials. This is the first time OLED technology was used for both tail lights and for the turn indicators. According to BMW, the thickness of the OLED elements does not exceeding 1.4 mm, with the OLED lights being able to create different effects depending on the required conditions.
