Buick had presented at the Detroit auto show the Avenir concept, a large sedan, for which the GM vice president of global development, Mark Reuss, said recently that it could pass on production.
The concept was equipped with a V6 engine, with a start/stop system and a cylinder deactivation system. The engine was combined with a 9-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
