The Volvo V40 and V40 Cross Country are now available with a new 1.5 liter turbo petrol engine producing 152 hp at 5,000 rpm and 250 Nm of torque from 1,700 to 4,000 rpm. The four-cylinder engine is combined with an also new six-speed automatic gearbox.
The gearbox has paddles on the steering wheel, while the fuel consumption is 5.5 liters/km for the V40 and 5.6 liters/100 km for the V40 Cross Country.
