The first part of the long-awaited Christmas episode of Top Gear, the Top Gear Patagonia Special filmed in Argentina, aired on BBC. In the episode you can see what really happened in the territory of Argentina, the original script wanted the team of Top Gear to start its journey from the city of Bariloche in the foothills of the Andes Mountains and arrive in the city of Ushuaia Patagonia, after 2.580 km of amazingly beautiful roads, driving a Porsche 928, a Lotus Esprit V8 and a Ford Mustang Mach 1 on the highway Ruta 40 (or National Route 40) and the dirt roads of the area.

However the disputed license plate “H982 FKL” or if you want “1982 Falklands”, on the car of Jeremy Clarkson forced the team of Top Gear to hide under beds, before leaving from Argentina with the cars to stay there.
