Toyota is so confident of the reliability and performance of their first hydrogen-powered car, that they will race of the Japanese Rally Championship with an appropriately configured FCV.
The company refused to go into further details, but the car will be properly prepared to be able to compete at the Shinshiro Rally, which starts next Saturday and has a length of 285 km.
The car is equipped with new suspension, gravel tires with special wheels and a roll bar, while it is unknown if there are any mechanical changes.
