Honda, through Thomas Brachmann, head of the engine development department of the company, announced that the first mass-production car with hydrogen fuel cells will go on production in 2020. Brachmann also said that the FCV concept is very close to being passed to production.
Honda is aware that hydrogen cars will take 10-15 years to become widely accepted by the world, but initially, their plan is to sell the FCV in Japan and after it make it available in Europe and US.
